Gilroy Auto Repair

I have used Preferred Automotive since moving to Gilroy 4 years ago. The shop/Dave Rose was recommended by family members who have always gone there. My first visit was for an oil change, which included the FREE seasonal check-up. I was so impressed with the complete service, I now use Preferred Automotive for all my car servicing and repairs. I completely trust Dave when he diagnosis and recommends repairs. He has always been thorough and trustworthy. My daughter has started coming from San Jose to takes her SUV there.

I gave 5 stars because they were able to service my car under its extended warranty with no hassles, and in a timely manner! They were very professional and made my car problems their own. The staff is amazing and made my experience feel as if it was not just another trip to the auto shop. I was referred by Bob Deal. My 2000 Honda CRV is getting a little old with 146,000plus miles, had Engine Failure lights on. I was quoted for the diagnosis. Called with the needed repairs and quotes by he Owner a few hours later. Repairs completed on time. Answered all my questions even gave me a drawing about Valves. Dropped me off at home and picked me up to retrieve my vehicle. CRV running great!!

Great service as usual. I was on my way to the shop when my car broke down so I called and Preferred Auto arranged for a local tow truck to come haul me in (the whole last mile I had to go - drat, I was so close). It took a about ten minutes for the tow to arrive rather than the normal hour or more waiting for someone like AAA to show up - that was great! I not only got a running car back but a freshly washed car too boot!

The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and service orientated. The shop area is very clean.
